Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (TPWD) transactions are unfortunately cash only. In the event a check were to be returned due to insufficient funds/stop payment or a chargeback in the case of a credit card, TPWD still expects the Johnson County Tax Office to remit payment to them regardless. Unfortunately, we are not able to cover or float the transaction until it is resolved, some of which may end up to not being collectable.
