2025 Property Taxes are Available to View and Pay Online
Increases in school homestead exemptions for general homestead and persons over 65 or disabled are on the November election ballot. As per Legislative requirement, the 2025 property taxes available online presumes that the increases will be approved and already reflects the increased exemption amount, if the property is subject to a homestead exemption.

Scott is a native and lifelong resident of Johnson County. He was sworn in as Johnson County Tax Assessor–Collector on October 1, 2002. Prior to being sworn into office, he was the Chief Deputy at the Johnson County Tax Office.
Scott attended Texas Christian University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics. He has also attained the professional certification designation of PCC and CTOP.
Since taking office, Scott has brought many new ideas and services to the tax office with a focus on customer service and convenience as well as the use of technology to provide a tax office that is efficient and user friendly. He is also committed to providing a tax office that is responsive and cost effective for the residents of Johnson County.
